Gram-Eās Kitchen is a heartfelt snack mix brand created in partnership with the NWPA Innovation Beehive. Rooted in warmth, nostalgia, and personality, the project centered around crafting a visual identity that captures the feeling of homemade treats made with love, just like Gram-E used to make.
As part of the design team, we developed a full brand system including a primary logo suite, alternate marks, custom patterns, a thoughtful color palette, and clear packaging applications. The main logo features a hand-illustrated portrait of Gram-E herself, paired with friendly typography that combines script and structured lettering to balance personality with clarity. The use of a heart-shaped icon and the phrase āHomemade With Loveā reinforces the brandās emotional connection and authenticity.
Supporting design elements like pretzel and waffle patterns help bring playfulness and visual texture to the packaging. We carefully curated a palette of soft purples, creams, and muted pastels to evoke a cozy, inviting kitchen feel while still allowing flexibility across product lines.
